Skills Canada Newfoundland and Labrador staff make frequent visits to classrooms across Newfoundland and Labrador to discuss career opportunities in skilled trades and technologies. Vale is the primary sponsor for SCNL Career Awareness Presentations and helps the organization with their efforts to deliver them across the province.
SCNL is proud to utilize communication technology to make presentations more accessible to schools and community groups outside the Avalon region. Additionally, SCNL is also more than happy to offer teaching tools and educational materials to classrooms across the province.
By raising awareness to young Canadians and the future workforce about the incredible careers in trades and technology, SCNL Career Awareness Presentations work to bridge the skills gap.
