Offers junior high and high school aged students across the province the opportunity to engage in interactive skilled trade and technology workshops. SCNL is expanding the brand-new Skilled Futures program to tackle many relevant career options for students upon its official launch. Skilled Futures offers focused workshops for female students and inclusive events for co-ed students.
The ENTER:Preneur program highlights the great opportunities for skilled youth to become successful business owners, inspiring a new generation of skilled workers to ensure Canada’s continued economic prosperity. As skilled youth develop into successful business owners in their fields, they remain connected to their community and active create positive change, providing in-demand services and employment opportunities.
These skilled business owners will be positive influencers and mentors for future generations of the Skills Movement.
Vale In-School Presentations
Skills Canada NL representatives in partnership with Vale make frequent visits to classrooms across the province to discuss competition and career opportunitites in skilled trades and technologies.
National Skilled Trade & Technology Week
The goal of this week-long event is to promote and host awareness raising events around the many career opportunities in skilled trades and technology in Canada.

This day is dedicated to celebrating the work of skilled trades-people and technologists and highlighting the array of rewarding career opportunities available in these sectors.
