Skilled trade, technology and employability competitions for secondary and post-secondary students 

Our Provincial Competition Brings youth into a competitive spotlight while demonstrating the complexity and talent involved in skilled careers. Over 300 regional finalists from across Newfoundland and Labrador (including intermediate, secondary and post-secondary students and apprentices) gather in the city of St. John’s to compete in over 40 competition areas.

Update: Thursday, March 12, 2020

* The health and safety of students, volunteers, supporters and staff is the top priority for Skills Canada Newfoundland and Labrador. In light of the global and national spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Skilled Career Day and Provincial Competitions scheduled for Friday, March 20th is cancelled.

Over the coming weeks, as the situation continues to evolve, SCNL will collaborate with partners and evaluate if competitions can be rescheduled; SCNL will inform all of any new developments / plans.
